AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 5:24 ¶ "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins--the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life. |
Bible Question: CAN ANYONE ONE EXCEPT THE CHANGES OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE? |
Bible Answer: Exodus 9:12 "the Lord hardened Pharoah's heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron". Romans 9:11-13 Where Paul refers to Jacob and Esau he states "in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls". Romans 9:20 "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, Why did you make me like this?" God's mercy was for Jacob and Moses and not for Esau or Pharoah. No matter what occurred God saw to it that his design was fulfilled. His chosen succeeded and the unchosen failed. There are many more instances in scripture as to the predestination of man as regards God's purpose such as Romans 8:28-30. |
