Bible Question: Can we eat with those who has committed adultery and is now still under church discipline? 1 Corinthians 5:11 say that we might not even take food with those people. Why Jesus ask for water from the adulteress in John 4:7? |
Bible Answer: Ivory313: Kalos wrote you a very good response to this. The situation that you have described is beyond your ability to "fix" on your own. Since the leadership of your church has been compromised and the elders of the church have obviously not responded Biblically to sin in their midst, perhaps it is time to seek fellowship with a group of believers who will not "wink" at sin. Just a thought for you to consider. A church is a place where the sick go to be healed, not to become more sick. May God direct you to where He wants you to be - where He is honored . . . pray and seek! mommapbs |
