Bible Question: On John 3:5-8 When the statement was made, that you must be born again;to Nicodemus, was he speaking of spiritual or natural? |
Bible Answer: Hi renee, When speaking of being born "again", the meaning is being born "from above". There is flesh and there is spirit in the passage. There are both water and spirit to be born of in John 3:5; both are necessary to enter the kingdom of God. So I would not say that it is of water / faith as your question suggests but of water / spirit. The spirit blows where it wishes. We are born from above. From the heart, Ray |
