Subject: What does "born again" mean to a Jew? |
Bible Note: I understand now. We would call these events rights of passage , coming of age or milestones in our life. Perhaps some Jews view this as being born again but I have never heard a Jew refer to it as such. I know of no Jewish teaching either written or oral that refers to this. Is it possible the speaker you heard was making an analogy, or offering an example rather than providing a definition or stating this as fact? I will pose this to one of my Jewish friends to see it they can shed any light. EdB |
