Subject: Is not Love The Greatest Commandment? |
Bible Note: Thank you John as well. It was not my intent to post non-facts, I referenced by mistake (as I am human) no key in my back..Little Humor. Anyhow, I said Descend into heaven of Christ instead of Ascend into heaven. I did not mean that and I did know what I meant to say. I had my 2 year old grandson, who lives here with me screaming in the background while I was trying to post. I also said the bible is not always literal. When Hank jumed on me abouth that, I wrote back what about the parables? They were beautiful expressions of Christs words to touch the heart and stir the mind. Yes his parables meant something, they were just not plainly spoken in the literal sense, but a comparative sense. I am not the most knowledgeable of the Bible, however I am not unfamiliar with the Bible either. Maybe my better approch would be if I see something that I would like to respond to, to print it. Then stop and take the time to ponder it, research it, then post my answer instead of trying to post in then and there. Like I said I am new to this. I do have a lot of love and insight to share. I write Christian poems that I have shared with various people that have touched them to want to know more. I feel that this is the gift that God has given me, the gift of Mercy and expression. Thank you for helping me to bandage this little wound of mine. It was only a nick anyhow and I will continue to post. I want to learn more as well as help in any way that I can...focusing on being more accurate. |
