Bible Note: Sam, Jesus loves you. He will forgive you for the things you do. I'm not saying that we should live like the devil and then ask God to forgive us everyday and do these things again tomorrow. I am saying noone is perfect and God knows that while we are in these fleshly bodies we never will be, but he expects us to do the best we can. When you were a child at home your parents didn't just throw you away because you made a mistake they tried to help show you how not to do this again. (At least they were supposed to I know there are some parents out there that are in real trouble themselves.) If you just keep trusting God and seeking wisdom and ask for his help overcoming your addictions you will succeed. He won't take them away from you you have to give them up yourself but he will help you with the process and it is a process. You didn't become addicted overnight and you may not stop overnight. Souknds like your pastor is leading you in the right direction. Just know that your christian brothers and sisters will help you as much as possible your christian friend , Md1234 |
