AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 3:16 ¶ "For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. |
Subject: Is God's love unconditional ? |
Bible Note: Michaelogical: I did not say that God's love is not based on anything. Nor did I once use the word condition or conditional in my Note. I merely said what I said, which is: "God's love is not based on the merit of the recipient." It seems to me that the REASON for the oath is God's love. Not the other way around. The result of God's love is the cross. This is not the same as saying the condition of God's love is the cross. Look at the order found in John 3:16. God's love precedes the giving of His only begotten son. Grace to you! Radioman2 |
