Bible Note: Thank you, justme, for your feedback. I have no idea why you say that I judge harshly, but when I re-read my question, I understand why you have such a feeling. I am terribly sorry that I did not state it clearly. My beginning sentence should read like this instead: "Nowadays, there are SOME pastors ONLY engage in teaching in seminaries and giving sermons on the pulpits." I forgot to use the word "some" to state clearly the specific group of ministers. Therefore, my focus of concern is what constitute to the term "pastor" if no caring and shepherding function is exercised? I hope it clarifies the misunderstanding :-) Shalom Azure |
