Bible Question (short): pastor / shepherd? |
Question (full): John 21:15-17 Nowadays, there are pastors ONLY engage in teaching in seminaries and giving sermons on the pulpits. Is "pastor" equivalent to "shepherd"? If so, it seems to me that much of the responsibility that required of a pastor has been ignored or tend to be specialized (division of labour). What are the criteria for pastoral ordination? Thanks for your input and insight. Shalom Azure |
