Bible Question (short): I run into a snag when comparing

Question (full): I run into a snag when I compare the resurrection in John to the resurrection in Luke.In John ,Mary M visits the tomb,goes and tells Peter and John, then returns with them. After Peter and John leave she stays and then encounters the angles. In Luke 24,the womem go to the tomb encounter the angles then go back and tell the eleven. Peter then goes to the tomb wanting to see for himself.
