Bible Question (short): Would you of tried to stop His execution |
Question (full): JVH0212, I'll use your post to ask my next question. I agree it is a "really wierd" question. I am wierd. The reason I asked is because when I heard about the bridge operator who killed his own son to save all the people on the train got me thinking. Could I kill the one who I loved the most? The reason for this question is along the same lines. Know that you and the world would be lost forever, would you of stopped His crucifixion? I believed He had to die on that day, so even delaying it would mean He missed one prophecy. We do need to think about our role in His death -that He had to die for us, at that time. All those people, while they had a choice, played their part. -we have a choice by adding our sins to Him, letting Him die for us (I know some people believe He died for all, not just those who believe - a minor point).
