Bible Note: Hi, MJH... Think about the context of the statement of Christ in John 16:7. When did He make it; i.e., at what point in His ministry? What was yet to be accomplished? To whom was He speaking? Why was this instruction going to be important to them? What would be their roles? Where would Christ go at the Ascension? What role would Christ assume after the Ascension? What must first occur for the Holy Spirit to seal a believer?
