AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 15:16 "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you. |
Subject: Does Jn 15:16 "choosing" apply to us? |
Bible Note: Dear Doc, I wasn’t trying to do an in-depth word study, but to simply approach the question from a different angle. I wasn’t sure if Huron was asking if John 15:16 meant that God “predestined” some to salvation while He “predestined” others to destruction. I just figured I’d cover that base. Ocelot |
