AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 14:10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power]. |
Bible Question:
how to explain God the father son is one |
Bible Answer: My analogy is more for the Trinity than just Father and Son. But I think it helps here too. Look at water. There are three stages of water: solid, liquid and gas. Take an ice cube or some snow and bring it inside and it melts to become liquid. Now boil that same liquid and it becomes steam. All three are water just like the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are God. Just because water is in a solid, liquid or gas state does not mean in anyway that it is not water. |
