Subject: Sin in the life of a believer? |
Bible Note: Hi, Rowdy! I don't regret saying any of my words because they were not in vain. Please read my post after you've read theirs and you'll find that I was asking them questions just like they asked me. I don't think God brings us together so that we can continue to live in error, but we are helpers one to another, learning from each other. I merely responded to "What a sad thing it is to view God's precious gift of eternal life as a maddening cycle of salvation...sin...no salvation...repent...salvation again...sin...no salvation...repent...salvation again...etc. ad infinitum. I have never been given to understand how or why honest and sincere Christians can espouse and promulgate a belief like this that is so foreign to sound scriptural doctrine. –Hank" and "Do you love God? Are you afraid of Him? What is your motivation for obedience? What kind of life is it if one is constantly wondering if they "measure up" - combing through every thought and action, looking for some possible sign of sin? Sadly, we don't know how to "wash one another's feet." mommapbs" WalkingTalkingBible |
