Bible Note: Dear Inquisitor, Remember, there are far more wrong answers to any given question than there are correct answers. Despite Ephesians 4, lots of "other strange interpretations" will be rendered. In this context, keep in mind the full explanation of Scripture. We call that the analogy of faith -- a crucial principle used in hermeneutics (see post #156918). Therefore, consider John 11:52; Psalm 72:17-19; 89:9; Isaiah 49:6; Romans 15:9-13. Furthermore, this is the consensual perspective of many Christian scholars. At least, in a cursory check, I find the following who deem that the "other flock" are the Gentiles: Augustine, John Chrysostom, John Lightfoot, Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Gill, John Wesley, Robert Jamieson, and John MacArthur.
