Subject: Islamic View of Crucifixion? |
Bible Note: The "Crusades" predate Islam. The book of Judges predates Christ. How far back must one go to recognize that the world is the same as it was all of the yesterdays. Men have always done what it right in their own eyes. It is and always has been brutal. In my lifetime, and I will admit it has been a long one, we have fought war after war after war after war after war after war. Some people kill people in the "Name of Freedom." Some kill people in the name of “God”. What do we call what the Israelites did to Christians who opened their arms, and homes to a ravaged people before they "became a nation"? Most of those thousands slaughtered were Palestinian Christians. Women were raped. Children were butchered and bulldozed over. And, less we forget, that refugee camp in Lebanon. I served in the U.S. Navy years ago. Remember when Israel attacked the United States in June 1967? So do the widows of the U.S.S. Libery. Your statement, “most part a ture Muslim is taught you either convert to Islam or you should die” makes me ask - how is it that for centuries Muslim and Christians lived side by side with the Jews – until Israel stormed in? They even fought side by side numerous times. But most importantly it reminds me of Jesus’ command - “Love your enemies”. Every Muslim that I know has only been won to Christ the same way I was won. Someone loved on me with unconditional love. I don’t “tolerate” killing people – I just tolerate all people. Blessings, Taleb |
