Subject: I would like to reply to Timothy Paul. |
Bible Note: Timothy Paul, if Jesus and the Father are the same person, then what do you do with Rev. 4:2-5:12? Chapter 4 describes the One Who is sitting on the throne. Then chapter 5:6-7 states: "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne." Who is the "Lamb" who comes and takes the scroll out of the hand of Him who sits on the throne? Jesus! But if Jesus and the Father are the same person, then Who is sitting on the throne? Does Jesus sit on the throne and then come and take the scroll out of His own hand? Even though our finite minds cannot possibily comprehend, much less explain, the Triune Godhead, the Bible clearly reveals it. Be blessed, MrsB |
