Bible Question:
Please clarify the difference of a disciple and an apostle. Why does the bible use both names? |
Bible Answer: Hi, adella! In Luke 9:1 we see an excellent definition of Apostle (sent); John 20:21 is a direct defenition! In contrast, Matthew 9:14; John 4:1,2; John 6:24 through 6:66 define the disciples as those who gather about a teacher or a doctrine. God Bless! Angel |
