Bible Question:
Isn't this walk a walk of surrender, a walk of renewal? I mean before I believed, Jesus was just this guy and then something change in my thinking and I recognized who He was and for the first time knew who I was. I asked Him to be the Lord of my life and have been surrendering and being renewed ever since. What is being taught to the new believers (and old for that matter) that causes so much trouble? Jesus said, (Luke 6:46) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Is it so hard to believe Jesus? |
Bible Answer: It stems from the gifts our Father has bestowed on the church. (Eph 4:11-13). The problem is some aren't called to the ministry and aren't hearing from God to instruct the body. So the body isn't growing into the perfect bride God is waiting for. And because of the hipocracy sheep have wandered and have no covering and then are deceived. God is raising up Pastors in these last days who here His voice and will build up the body with knowledge and understanding (Jer 3:15). It's our job to find these men of God and submit to their authority and calling, not being blind but having the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. (Acts 17:11 ; John 16:13) |
