Subject: What do you think? |
Bible Note: The thing is that we are to condemn the sin - not the sinner. I think that it is possible to judge that a person is sinning and approach them in a loving manner and still not condemn the person at the same time. Too many times we judge the person as being evil and unworthy because of the sin that they are doing or in. That is why so many people refuse to go to church, etc. In confronting the person I think that it is very important to remember that God loves the person and Jesus gave His life for this person. What else is important to remember is that Satan is a deceiver and this person is being deceived by Satan into believing that he is not commiting a sin. The couple was definitely in the wrong and was living in sin without a doubt. I just have a problem with the way they approached him (read my reply to Hank). prayon |
