Bible Question: I am trying to understand the Godhead Trinity. My question, is the Trinity one God but three persons, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, or is the Trinity, three separate Gods? |
Bible Answer: Hello Grace, I dare say I don't think you will get a better answer than the one that Brother Brad has given you to your last question. One God, In three persons. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. By the way, this is not something that any mortal is capable of understanding, faith plays a major roll in this. But Luke 3:22 gives us a clear picture of the three, Jesus is being baptized, the Dove is a representation of the Spirit, And the voice from Heaven is, God the Father. "and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased." Another point is that, Scripture declares throughout that there is but One God. Hope this helps God bless John |
