Bible Question: How was Jesus' resurrected body different from His body before His crucifixion? |
Bible Answer: A good question. Basically, we don't really know. But we do know that we will receive a body like his after the resurrection. There are a few things that we do know. First, resurrection bodies seem to be significantly more substantial than regular bodies. Witness Christ's ability to apparently walk through walls as if they were fog. Furthermore, there is a suggestion that he is not necessarily limited by normal spatial laws. He appears to be able to come and go at will. Whether we will be able to do this is pure speculation. I personally think it'd be pretty cool, but there isn't really grounds for thinking one way or the other. The one thing we can say for sure is that we will have a body like his. |
