Subject: Will we recognize each other in glory? |
Bible Note: Thanks for your consideration of my posting. You pick up on the same thing that seems to be large in the scriptures, the state of unbelief is of inestimable concern to the biblical authors. I might add that is the believer's concern as well, only it is different in degree or at least disimilar in hardness to those who are unsaved. But who are regenerated must always make request to God to help us in our unbelief. So we are not terribly unlike the apostles who really didn't expect our Lord to rise from the dead. In what ways do we seem related to them in our lives, as we consider what God is doing now? However, I have no idea if we will recognize each other in glory, I wonder why ask the question, we either will or we won't. But the discussion of it is a great opportunity to expose our basis of belief, and our attitudes about what we want. But most of all we can consider this to be a growth experience, whereby we can consider ourselves and our condition. |
