Subject: Who was Jesus asking God to forgive? |
Bible Note: Did the following know what they were doing? Jewish leaders - yes, they knew He was the Messiah Jewish crowd - some, it was the fifth day since His entry into Jerusalem. They cried Hosanna. Rest of the crowd - along with the Jews, all they were doing was jeering Romans - maybe Pilate, but I doubt the soldiers knew who He was, or care ... so I think it was them.
