Bible Question:
Good Afternoon! Could someone eith quote or direct me to where I could find a copy of The Sinner's Prayer ... specifically, if perchance there's any confusion on what I'm looking for. I'm looking for The Profession Of Faith In Y'Shua (Jesus). This is time sensitive and I need an answer by the end of Today, Thursday April 13th. Thank You ever so much A-Sojourner Mailing to me could expidite the procedure at smd@bright.net And have a Blessed Resurrection Sunday! |
Bible Answer: Dear A..., Without being a bit more specific, it's impossible to give you the exact "Sinners Prayer". There are many renditions and no one is necessarily more right than the other. Biblically, you have the cry of the Tax Collector in Luke 18:13, "...God be merciful to me a sinner". Romans 10:13 (quoting from Joel 2:32) says, "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." There are also words such as "Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my sinfulness and need of a Savior. Thank you for dying for my sins on the cross. Come into my life". It's not the words themselves that are most important. It's the heart attitude, for 1 Sam. 16:7 says "...but the Lord looks at the heart." I trust this will help, BradK |
