Subject: Peace and safety or great tribulation? |
Bible Note: So maybe the problems that Christ is speaking of in Matthew 24 only applies to Christians because the unbelievers in the world are saying peace and safety. This is the point that I am trying to convey. Matthew 24:9-14 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. [10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. [14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. It sounds to me like the world is going to try and to get rid of the all the Christians because verse 9: say for my name’s sake. Christ even say that something will be done for the believers of that time. Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Christ pointed out that those that endure these problems will be delivered. Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. CDBJ |
