Subject: Where did the dead go prior to Jesus |
Bible Note: look again at the two accounts, the one Lazarus is a begger, the other is a frend to Jesus. These two accounts are definatly two different people.Psalm 16;10 For thou will not leave my soul in Hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption. luke 4;18, Proverbs 9;18, Acts 2;27-34,.Matthew.27;50., Luke 23;43, look real close to Eph. 4 8-10, We as Christians will not be partaker of the second death. Hell is not the final place for those without Christ, the Lake of fire is, These scriptures of Rev. you raised are self explanitory.Believing in allegorys is fine but where it comes to the gospel we hafe to be careful not to confuse the two. And if the Bible says that the Rich man lifted up his eyes from hell, and that he was in torment then its true. The rich man ,out of his mortal body was in torment. And if God in Gen. 2;7 hadnt breathed life into man then man would not have a soul and we would not be having this conversation. The Bible says that the worm dieth not, the worm here is the soul,. We also hafe to look at the words, Sheol, Tartarus, Gehenna, Hades and Hell itself.luke 16;19-31 is not a parable but is what actually happened. Thats about all I can think of right now, i believe that too many people try to read the Gospells as all parables or alligories, they go one extreem to the other, God made it simple. if you dont agree with me, thats O.K. we all have the right to agree to disagree, but it doesnt meen that we dont love each other in Christ. |
