Subject: WILL YOU KNOW YOUR LOVE ONES IN HEAVEN |
Bible Note: I disagree somewhat. I do believe it is possible that we will forget after the Great White Throne Judgement, for "He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken." (Isaiah 25:8). It isn't necessary though. We may be rejoicing in His righteous Judgement as in Revelation 16:7 which reads And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments." But at the Judgement of the unsaved (Great White Throne) we will be present judging with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? 1 Corinthians 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? My original point was that Lazerous recognized Abraham, not the condemned rich man. The difference between then and now is that all those who were in Abraham's bosom are now in paradise with God: Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." 2 Corinthians 5:8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. |
