Bible Question: How many times is a backslider allowed to repent. I realize that it might depend on the individuals personal situation, but I was just wondering if a number is referenced in the Bible? |
Bible Answer: Hi LJ, That would depend on what you call backsliding. Some that are called backsliders, are not saved in the first place. We can see however, that God's children do wonder from time to time, but, they "always" return to Him. If God has chosen you, you are His, and there is nothing but nothing anyone can do about that. If you think you are backsliding, then I would suggest to you, whether you are saved or not, to roll off your back, and get on your knees! God bless John |
