Subject: What happens to our soul when we die? |
Bible Note: Sboone, Of course the soul is immortal! Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. There are many more scriptures that attest to this. Spiritism/Spiritualism is nothing new. It was prohibited in the law, and practiced throughout the history of the pagan world. It was recorded in the time of King Saul, as he sought counsel from the dead prophet Samuel. 1Th 5:10 (of Jesus) "Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." There is no "disolution of life". Our flesh sleeps, our spirit either awaits eternal judgment, of the condemned, or lives with Jesus, of the redeemed. Love in Christ, mark |
