Bible Note: Hi Dalcent, Attributes come from parents. I am white because my father and mother were white. Jesus is a Man and had a mother. God is Spirit, and has no mother. Jesus was pre-existant, and inhabits the body that was born to Mary. I am not my body. I am the spirit that inhabits my body. One day I will put off my body like an old coat, and I will put on a new body, but I will still be me. Abraham, in sheol, without a body, was still Abraham. That aside... Thank you for your clarification on your capitalization. Many people would say that they capitalize titles referring to Mary for the same reason as titles referring to God. If I understand you correctly, you capitalize this much the same as you would Master at Arms. This I have no difficulty with. I admit I am slightly Cap. shy by those who would elevate Mary to be worshipped, to be prayed to, to be considered "co-redemptrix". As "a vessel that carried God", I was reluctant to use those words in my post to you for fear of offending, but that is what was in my mind also. As a vessel, but not more than a vessel. As the mother of Jesus, the Mother of God, if you will, in that sense. As the Ark of the Covenent was the throne of God in the tabernacle, then the temple. I still do not care for that title, tho, because in the semantics of our language, we use this term "mother" in a certain way, (I know this is rehashing, but after this I will be done.) for us mother is the progenitor, but then we say "except in one usage", when we say "mother of God". My personal opinion is that this phase poorly expresses the reality. I know that many thousands disagree with me, but I know many others will agree. Thank you for the discussion!
