Bible Note: Hi Christina, The storm here has passed so I feel it is safe again to be on the computer. Let me express what I feel one has to see before he/she gets to the other side in this passage. Allow me to give some Scripture references and to star some pronouns to compare. Mark 4:41, "And who is this *[One], that even the wind and the sea obey ***Him?" And they came to the other side of the sea,..." John 1:14b, "and we beheld *His glory, glory as of the only-begotten from the ***Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:18, "No man has seen *God at any time; the only begotten ***God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He/ has explained Him." John 1:25, "And they asked him [John the baptist], and said to him, "Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the *Prophet? John answered them saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands ***One you do not know." John 10:30, "*I and the ***Father are One." John 1:31, "And I [John] did not recognize *Him, but in order that ***He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water." John 1:33, "And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon *Him, this is the ***One who...And I [John] have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God." Who then is this One? He is the only-begotten God. This Man whom they did not know, this Man has explained Spirit. John 6:27, "...for on Him the Father, even *God, has set ***His seal."
