Subject: Can one who commits suicide be saved? |
Bible Note: John 10:28 says - I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. - The problem with your viewpoint is that you believe just because we try to become gods, then we are God. We cannot snatch ourselves out of God's hand. No matter how crooked our thinking, God is still omnipotent and we are not. If He says we're saved by faith in Him, then no man, even ourselves, can change that as long as we have that saving faith in Him. God, in His omnipotence, also knows we may face moments of despair, so strong in fact that we may end our lives. God's love protects us from suicide as well as other bad choices we make living on earth. |
