Bible Question:
Makr 16:9-20 In my bible it says early manuscripts dont have 9-20. Where did this section come from? Is it considered devinely inspired? |
Bible Answer: It depends on who you ask, Jaded13. That is answer to both questions. My Bible has a note, that Mark probably didn't write it. If you study the style it is different. It was inserted by someone, because Mark does not have the ressurection or what happened after, and the other gospels do (Mat 28; Luk 24; Jhn 20). On the second question, just because Mark may not of written it and it was inserted later, does not preclude it from being, or make it, inspired. Other people decided it should be in.
