Subject: Resurrection on Saturday v/s Mark 16:1 |
Bible Note: Thank you for your comment, I have considered all the different cultural rules regarding the day and night, but my question is assuming Jesus resurrection on Sabbath morning (as the starting of the second half of that Sabbath). A possible answer is that there were two Sabbath in place, one the normal one (according God's Law) and the other a ceremonial one (according Moses Law), and it was the ceremonial one that fits on Sunday. Then the women visited the tomb on Sunday, but maybe Jesus was already resurrected on Saturday. |
