Bible Question (short): Jesus' body washed?? |
Question (full): I was looking at a TV program when one of the characters mentioned after Jesus had died on the cross, that his body was taken down and washed. I know about it being wrapped with spies but washed? Is this correct? If so, where in scripture is it. Is this part of Jewish ritual around "Day of Preparation"? Just curious. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks. |
