Bible Question: Is election Gods foreknowledge or his choosing. I need references |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Mark 13:20, Rom 8:28-33, Eph 1:4, 2 Tim 1:9 ... Slicktyger, welcome to the forum. You may want to use the Quick Search function on the upper right to see what has been said about God's foreknowledge, election or choosing. In Romans 8:33, the word eklektos is translated elect by the NAS and chosen by the NIV. The meaning is picked out, chosen and is translated by the NAS as chosen in other places. So I say choosing. Hope this helps, Searcher |
