Question (full): hello everyone.well my boyfriend has been reading the bible and he is really taking it to heart and thats fine with me but, he says that it says in the bible that once you have intercourse you are married and now that we are some what married he says that in the bible it say that the wife is a servant to the husband. and now he is demanding me to do stuff for him he's like " you better clean me house, or you better have my meal done when i get home!" i used to enjoy doing these things for him because he would ask so nicely and would treat me very good and make me feel loved but every since he read that scripture in the bible hes treatin me like a slave. and when i say "can you please ask me alittle nice to do stuff for you " he says,"your suppose to do what i say according to the bible and if you dont your sinning" and all i want from him is a please and thank you and he says that he doesnt have to say that because it doesnt say to say that in the bible and he says it doesnt say he need to be nice according to the bible. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME SHOW HIM THAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO ATLEAST TREAT ME NICE, HE WILL ONLY GO BY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS. and when i tell him about ephesians 5:22-33 all he says is well there has to be more to it. can any one tell me some more verse in the bible that i can show him for he can stop treating me this way. I REALLY MISS HIM BEING NICE LIKE HE USED TO BE. |
