Bible Question:
When you say Christ in that verse that you quoted tried to explain to us not to be hypocryte by judging people but not looking in ourselves: Now lets say that your fellow borother or sister falls into drugs. You tell him you won't speak to that person or allow them to your house or go to there house. Also you are telling other to take your lead for now there living in sin. When not to long ago you your self were doing drugs. Will as you hold that fact that your holding your codenming your brother for sinning in something you use to do your self. Will God hold you to your past and treat you as you are treating your brother. Even for things in your past befor you were saved. As you now hold them to your brother. |
Bible Answer: Dear pastorpeanut, I beg to difer. I can see where your statement came from, but you have stated it incorectly. I would suggest you re-read that portion of scripture, for you are only half right. Once ones sins have been forgiven, they are as they never were. One can not "void" the clensing by the blood. (O, I can read the thoughts of many who read this statement! If you don't know, Ask and...I will tell.) All have sinned and continue daily to sin. Anyone who states otherwise is a liar. He decieves himself. A litle more "diligent" application of 2 Ti 2:15 will prove the statements herein as fact. Exhorting In Christ George |
