Bible Question (short): Are we out of chances? |
Question (full): I am new to this forum and not exactly sure where to start or even if I am suposed to stick to a specific topic so if this is too much info please understand and I am sorry. I have been in a relationship for 8 years, we have two children and no we are not married. I do realize that we should have been married but the relationship has some serious strains involving his prior drug use and verbal abuse. Every time things get good and we plan to marry, things turn for the worse and everytime worse than before. I need some scipture to stand on to find out if I should be working at this to make it work for the kids and our family or if I need to move forward in my walk with Christ without him. He has just relapsed and is in jail as of yesterday. I need to figure out if once he is out I give yet another chance or stand strong with not going through or putting my children through all of this again. I cannot find any scripture to aid me in my decision making or to bring me closer to the way God would want me to go on this. I am not asking for advise but something to help clarify my choice. |
