Bible Question:
In Matthew 6:33 " seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things wil be added to you" (1) How does one seek the kingdom of God? (2)What is the kingdom of God, before one can be able to seek it one has to know what is it? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Zam zam and welcome to the forum! The God's Word translation makes it a little easier to understand what Christ means: "But first, be concerned about his kingdom and what has his approval. Then all these things will be provided for you". You seek the kingdom by seeking God. Seek - (to seek literally or figuratively; specifically to worship God - be about, desire, endeavour, enquire , require) His face - seek a relationship with Him daily. Make your single aim to be have God to reign in your life and your heart. The kingdom of God "comes not with outward show" (Luk:17:20) but is chiefly that which is inward and spiritual (Rom:14:17). Seek him with your whole heart. Hope this helps. prayon |
