Bible Question: One woman named Lou (Catholic faith) took a neighbor's husband who was married for 20 years with 2 kids, and lead him to divorce. What does the Bible say about it, please? Would you please give me quotes/passages from the Holy Scripture to help Lou understand her spiritual wrongdoing? The ex-wife and the kids still hope that the man would return back to the family one day. He will, if Lou follows her faith, and does a right thing now, letting the man go back to his family. But she needs to be directed to certain relevant passages from the Bible, please. thanks! Pls email me the answer to nastenka_99@yahoo.com |
Bible Answer: 1st Cor. chapter 5 talks about immoral people within the church and it doesn't make mention between Catholic or Baptist churches. Read it well because she could be removed from the church. This wasn't the purpose of this chapter. It was Paul's effort to keep the church in Corinth from associating with people who claim to be Christians yet who indulge in sexual sin and so on (verse 11). Most of all pray for her and know that God hates the sin but loves the sinner. |
