Bible Question:
I have a female friend in Venezuela and she is having a problem with a new Italian classmate. And he chooses not to accept what she beliefs are her standards and she has obligations to keep them for her and for God. The Italian follows her, invades her privacy, and meddles with her friendships that she DOES have at school....ever since he's arrived..School has been a dreaded rendevous for her every day...and she ahve no idea how to cope with it... She is wanting me to provide her with "..help me..give me a passage to read to give me strength..I need encouragement..." That is my Question |
Bible Answer: She has no obligation to explain herself to him. She needs to more assertively make that clear to him. He does not control her. She is responsible for her own life. Unfortunately, I don't know offhand what Bible passages would apply to this. On a more secular level, she would benefit from reading When I Say No, I Feel Guilty by Manual J. Smith. |
