Matthew 4:6 And he said [mockingly] to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, 'HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU [to serve, care for, protect and watch over You]'; and 'THEY WILL LIFT YOU UP ON their HANDS, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.'" [Ps 91:11, 12] |
Subject: Why is it translated "if", not "since"? |
Bible Note: -Is there a translation thst says "since", not "if" ... becuase that is the literal translation. -Why don't translators do a better job on this word? |
