Bible Question: I am attempting to discern a revelation. Satan came before God in Job 1:6. The revelation is that Satan could not speak until God spoke to him. All of his speech was a response to God. In the book of Matthew and throughout the Gospel where Satan presented himself to Jesus, Satan spoke to him. This appears to be out of order with the hierarchy of God. The revelation I got was that Satan can not defy the Spirit of God, but because Jesus was God in flesh, Satan was unbound in his dealings with Jesus. However each tmie he spoke to Jesus, he focused on the flesh and not the spirit. Help me to know if the revelation I received is scripturally correct. |
Bible Answer: Satan disrespect Jesus Christ because He dont beleived that Christ is God. Satan believed that there is God but dont believed that Christ is God Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Mt 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Mt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. If satan knew or believed that Christ is God, satan would never try to tempt Christ. God bless, |
