Bible Note: I have my suspicions as well. I've listened to some preach about it and have read about it. I do believe that God will provide in excess to those who truly walk in faith. If God knows you will use all of your resources for His glory why wouldn't he? I think the same applies to health etc. The bible makes clear promises that living a Godly life will lead to long life and health. All of these things I think must result from walking in faith. If you walk in faith, your words of faith will follow naturally. Speaking in faith and in line with God's word could help build your faith. And one thing I do agree with is the danger of speaking negativly. It just shows what you believe. If you say "I'll never be able to afford that", then you surely won't. Even if it is in line with God's plan for you, if you don't believe, it won't happen. I would say be very cautious of these teachers, but don't be too quick to judge those who's lives have been very blessed due to their incredible faith. I think sometimes they are so used to knowing what it is like to have so much faith and blessing, they forget what it is like to have doubts and worries. They end up coming off sounding arrogant. Just an opinion, hope it helps. |
