Subject: Is God male as opposed to female? |
Bible Note: "I don't believe that a mortal mind can truly comprehend God's full nature," Hi, Reighnskye! I respect your opinion and I totally agree with part of your statement (quoted above)... Yet, the fact that God applied the male gender to Himself (as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and the fact that He chose the male to represent Him in matters of worship and leadership (with the exception of a few far-in-between females) lead me to believe that He has preferred the male gender as His identifying sex--though I do concur with you, this self-definition is not dependent on male reproductive organs!
