Bible Question: Why are only certain woman named in the book of Matthew? |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, desjen and welcome to the SBF, In Matt 27:55, it says there were many women, vesre 56 names two of them, but not the third. Matthew names five women: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), and Mary, the mother of Jesus in the first chapter. My answer to why he only names certain woman is that God inspired him and he knew his audience. Ask more questions and share, Searcher |
