Personal profile for user screen name: ldaw942 I am a sr. citizen (lady) who spent a lot of my younger years doing things "my own way" (not God's) -- but God never let me go, and finally through allowing me enough struggles/trials, He got my attention, and drew me back to Him. I am eternally grateful. And, with my growth in the Lord, through my searching (in the churches I've attended, through my religion courses I've taken in a Christian College (Liberty University), and my 'covenant with God' to live for Him), I'm continuing to work toward the goal (of the High Calling)! (as Paul would say) I currently am actively involved in an ABC/COB fellowship in a very small town (under 250 pop.). I came out of the (1st Lutheran as a child, then in my sincere searching, Foursquare Gospel, Assembly of God) SBC fellowship and belief/doctrine into this ABC church -- however, I'm still (in my heart and mind) a SBC doctrine believer! I will continue to 'press for the mark of the high calling' as long as the Lord gives me breath! I am twice divorced (before Christ in my life marriages) and am committed to living for Him. If He would have anyone for me at this late stage -- then that would be entirely Him; but until then "I am content with whatever state that I am in". Single is just fine - because I have the Lord with me and on my side! Praise God for that and for His Salvation and Eternal Security!A Sister in the Lord!
